Bio

Annie Fajardo (b 1989) is an artist based in Mexico/Los Angeles. Her work invites people into a space of the dualities of life, often painting mirror figures and tall hats. She embodies a folk-inspired tone with elements of mysticism, nature, and the beauty that is her surroundings.
Rooted in creativity from an early age, she was always making art in one form or another. She grew up in New York City, surrounded by art, music, and culture. At the School of Visual Arts, she honed her craft and found her voice as a painter.
A later reconnection with her birth family brought deeper clarity to her work, revealing how creativity had always been woven into her life. Experiencing her family’s artistic spirit affirmed what she had long felt—that she was exactly where she was meant to be. Bridging the worlds that shaped her, her art exists at their intersection of both bringing forth the unique and sacred world within her.
